PRESS RELEASE: Relations with Shireroth
Quote:PUNTA SANTIAGO, ALDURIA -- The Secretary of State of Alduria, Isidoro Villalba, announced the appointment of Emmanuel Plessis as Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Alduria to the Imperial Republic of Shireroth.
The Secretary expressed that the appointment was authorized by the Cabinet and proper officials and that it would be "part of a commitment from this Government to build good relationships with all the nations of Micras."
The appointment will be the first formal diplomatic appointment by the Republic of Alduria. Secretary Villabla expressed that it was the first in many more to come.
This appointment was in response to the Shirerithian Government's appointment of Lord Chrysostom Wythe as Ambassador to Alduria. When asked about this appointment, the Secretary expressed that "Alduria welcomes the appointment of Lord Chrysostom Wytheas Ambassador to Alduria. Alduria looks forward to developing a friendship with Shireroth based on mutual respect and genuine cooperation."

The new Secretary expressed his intentions to maintain a neutral position for the foreign policy, while acquiring recognition from all nations in Micras to properly establish a diplomatic service that can represent our young nation overseas.
