Luis: Hello, I’m Luis. I’m a father of three beautiful children, husband and docker in Tudela. I’ve been working at the docks since I was about 17. It’s not a very well paying job, but it’s a paycheck at the end of the month to help my family get by.

I have been greatly benefited by the minimum wage that was introduced by the Democratic Socialist Party, but I haven’t received enough help overall from the government. But I’ve read the party manifestos, and I’m voting DSP! The DSP have offered to extend worker’s rights, build more housing, invest in transportation and create a strong education system.

One of the major things that won me over was the promise on healthcare, the docks can be dangerous with everything going on and accidents can happen and if it happens to me, with the DSP in charge I would be able to get the health care I need with no charge.

One other thing that won me over about education, as well as strengthening the system, they would also make sure that a university education is free for my children. We have a fund saving up for their university fees but we know it will never be enough for all of them so the DSP offering this will be a great help and will free up that money so we can do more things to bond as a family.

Thank you all for being here today to hear me speak. In this campaign, we have fought hard, our activists have worked so hard, I’ve travelled the country spreading our message of hope and with the most recent polling, it says we are winning! But that doesn’t mean we slow down our fight, our fight for a better country! Our fight for a better future!

One of our main campaign promises was the promise of a free, nationalised healthcare system! We didn’t do this because of ideology, we did it because it is right and it’s the common sense thing to do. We did it because of our history, we did it because we want a fairer future. Our nation is sadly plagued, due to the history of our land, with radiation related illnesses. We have some of the highest cancer rates in the world! There are over 1,100 cases per 100,000 people. 1 in 2 males will develop cancer before they turn 85, 1 in 3 females will develop cancer before they turn 85. But what have past governments done to help? Nothing. Many people who develop cancer either go bankrupt due to the cost of treatment or avoid care because it is unaffordable for them? That is not good enough for you, that isn’t good enough for our country!

It’s time we create a nationalised healthcare system, free at the point of use for everyone! That is one way we will build a fairer society! That is how we will build a better future for you, your children and all other future generations. Because healthcare should be a right! So let’s campaign for it! Let’s fight for it! And let’s elect a DSP government that will put our country and our people first. Let’s make a country that works for the working class. I want to lead a government that will transform this country, give real hope to everybody, and build a country that will work for the many, not the few! And we can do that! We can, together!

Hello everyone, thank you for coming to hear me speak today. With the campaign soon set to come to a close, we have all worked so hard to push for change for our country. And during this campaign I have been travelling the entire country so I haven’t had enough time to be here everyday and talking to you. I don’t have long here unfortunately before we have to continue but I wanted to be here because I believe it is vital that I don’t neglect my own seat and the people I live among and walk past everyday.

Over this campaign, we have been spreading our message. Our message of hope, our message of a better Alduria. Our message of a fairer Alduria, free from the injustice, inequality and the misery associated with it! A compassion Alduria and an Alduria that works for the working people. And people are listening to that message, across the country we have activists campaigning for a better, fairer Alduria! Our movement belongs to its grassroots, our movement is one that isn’t just about the parliamentary party, but everyone in this country. Our movement belongs to you.

So why not join our movement? Why not join us in our quest for a fairer society? We have a plan for a fairer society! This is how we will achieve it. Firstly, fixing our education system. Our education system is failing our students and, if we don’t act now, we will have an education crisis in Alduria! But we have a plan, to not just stop a crisis but make an education system that will work for everyone into the distant future. And our plan has been endorsed by the Aldurian Union of Teachers and Educators. Our plan is detailed in the manifesto which you can get free online or pick up a copy at the end. But not only will we fix our education system, we will make University free for all who wish to go! Why should a child be punished for wanting to have a University Education? Simple answer, THEY SHOULDN’T!

Next in our quest for a better Alduria, a free, nationalised healthcare system free for all. We have some of the highest cancer rates in the world, but you are charged a backbreaking amount for treatment! Surely that wouldn’t happen in a fair society? That’s why we are going to make a free, nationalised healthcare system for everyone, so that everyone can have the highest quality healthcare, free at the point of use for everyone who needs it!

In addition, we will give Aldurians a fair deal at work! We have already pushed for and delivered a minimum wage, imagine what we could do for you with a majority! Currently, 8% of Aldurians are unemployed, we will solve this by making better working conditions so people will want to come out and work for their money. And many don’t work because, even if they did, they wouldn’t get enough to get by and their rights will likely be abused by bad bosses. That is why we will have a people before profit approach. We will also set a CEO:Worker ratio of bonuses and wages of 15:1 to level the playing field between the bosses and the workers!

But there is also so much more in our manifesto, so why not have a little read, see what we can offer and vote for a DSP government that will work for the many, not just the few! Thank you very much!

Thank You for having me here today, sorry about interrupting your festival and you can get back to listening to some music shortly!

Firstly, if you can see that graffiti that someone has done over there, it has a message for the Aldurian National Alliance. It says ‘Build Bridges Not Walls’

But politics isn’t just about Parliament, isn’t just about elections. It is about everyday life. It’s about all of us, what we dream, what we want, what we achieve and what we want for our country. And you know what I dream of? An Alduria that works for everyone, with no injustice, no inequality, no poverty! Many people have felt that politics isn’t for them, politics doesn’t matter and that their vote doesn’t matter. But what my campaign has tried to do is bring people into politics, because your voice does matter, your vote does matter. And brought people into politics because they thought there was something on offer to them!

And that inspired me to see so many young people getting involved for the very first time! Because they were fed up with how our country was going, fed up with the inequality in our country, fed up with being patronised and saying they have to accept paying more and getting less, that they should accept low wages and insecurity, and that they should see it as part of life because ‘life isn’t fair.’ But you know what, it can be. And now we are demanding something very, very different to what was on offer before.

And we need to cherish our communities with all their diversity, because everyone we meet is unique, everyone we meet knows something we don’t, and everyone is different. And we shouldn’t see someone different as a threat, we shouldn’t see them as an enemy. We should see them as a source of knowledge and a source of friendship and a source of inspiration.

And if I may, I would like to quote one of my favourite poets. ‘Rise like lions after slumber, in unvanquishable number, shake your chains to earth like dew, ye are many, they are few.’

Thank you for inviting me here, and remember, a better society is possible. We can achieve a better society. We can, together!

Reports from hotel in Piriya, Baatharzi AR show that the staff traveling with the Prime Minister have been hit with large hotel bills that gone completely unpaid by either them or the campaign. Hotel staff reported numerous noise complaints, especially in the early mornings, along with two destroyed TVs and several trashed hotel rooms.

A leak of over 30,000 emails between DSP leaders and high-ranking Aldurian Union of Teamsters officials reveal an internal push to catalyze a strike with one DSP party official noting, "This could be big for us." While the DSP leader never made any public statements, trails of emails confirm that Marco Zimmer supported the effort before becoming leader of the party two years later. At the time, the negotiations were very contentious and almost resulted in a national strike.
