Madam Speaker,

While this bill may not seem important on its face, the establishment of awards and decorations is an important part of strengthening our friendships with foreign nations and rewarding people in a meaningful way for their service to our Republic. If passed, this bill will represent yet another step forward in strengthening our friendships with our neighbors and awarding people for their service to this great Republic. I urge Parliament to pass this bill.
