Thank you everyone. Members of the Aldurian and the foreign press, it is a pleasure to welcome you all this morning to our very first public press conference. We're in the middle of a Transitional period in our country right now, and we need all the openness and sincerity in the world to ensure that the people can hold their government to account.

In a few moments, the Prime Minister will step in here, make a statement, and then accept questions.

We urge you to remain respectful of the person and the institution, but let that not be understood as encouraging you to shy away in doing your jobs.

The Prime Minister will call upon you. You will respectfully ask a question, clearly and concisely. The Prime Minister delivers her reply. Follow ups will be at her discretion.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Prime Minister of the Republic.

Thank you all, members of the press. Aldurians, friends, and allies.

The Transitional Government is working for you. When the people of Alduria elected the Constituent Assembly and ratified the Constitution, they made it clear that they wanted a Government that wouldn't take their trust for granted.

Since Day One, this Government has hit the ground running. The leadership of Our President Alejandro Campos, and the leadership coming from our coalition partners, have led to a series of measurable successes in creating a stronger and more prosperous nation.

We have moved quickly to settle and secure our borders. We have deployed units to ensure that ports and ways of entry into Alduria are safe and that our people can settle and build a nation knowing that they are safe from terrorism, crime, and foreign invasion.

We have moved quickly to create an economy that is built to last. We have placed our single greatest national resource, oil, under the control and hands of the people of Alduria and have used it to secure deals around the world that have begun to open foreign markets for Aldurian products. We act with the principle of ensuring a free market economy that gives everyone an opportunity to thrive and build.

We have appointed a Cabinet of illustrious Aldurians, and assembled a common agenda for the coalition to above all, keep the Transitional Government on track to deliver a country that is safer, stronger, and free so the people can choose a new Government in their first general elections in 1672.

Moving forward, this Government shall continue to act to safeguard the national sovereignty, to safeguard the rule of law, protect our democracy, and preserve the blesings of our liberties as Aldurians for those who will come after us.

We cannot fail in building a new nation. We understand this responsibility is heavy.
