The Executive Office of the President of Alduria

The Executive Office of the President of Alduria, for which the term Executive Mansion is synonymous, lies at 473 Cleveland Lane in the city of Punta Santiago.

The Executive Office of the President of Alduria is considered part of the Cabinet, staffed by a mix of career civil servants and appointed special advisers and counselors. It also includes a group of government agencies at the center of the executive branch of the Aldurian government.

The Executive Office of the President of Alduria (EOPA) supports the work of the President. It consists of several offices and agencies, such as the Executive Mansion Office (the staff working directly for and reporting to the President, including support staff and the President’s closest advisers), and the National Security Council.

The highest ranking civil servant position is the Chief Private Secretary to the President. The most senior special adviser post is the Chief of Staff of the President.

The Executive Office is overseen by the Chief of Staff of the President.

The Executive Office of the President of Alduria is divided into three directorates:

1. Policy and Government: Prepares advice for the President and coordinates development and implementation of policy across government organs and departments (headed by the Policy and Government Director);
   
2. Communication and Strategy: Largest component of the Office, it is subdivided into three units (headed by the Communications and Strategy Director) that are: the President's Press Office (headed by the Press Secretary, in charge of relations with the media), the Strategic Communications Unit, and the Research and Information Unit.
   
3. Government and Political Relations: Handles party/public relations, liaised with the President's political party and constituency (headed by the Government and Political Relations Director).
